The links in this learner folio
represent a collection of the coursework I have completed while a
doctoral student at St. John’s University. These pages reflect
readings, applications to education, projects and personal
reflections.
An important role in my
journey as an educator is to actively seek to be a life-long
learner. A life-long learner has many attributes, including:
-
Knowledgeable person with
deep understanding
-
Complex thinker
-
Creative person
-
Effective communicator
-
Participant in an
interdependent world
-
Reflective and self-directed
learner
One of the most important goals
I have for myself is to remain a life-long learner, always seeking
out knowledge and learning about myriad ideas and approaches to the
various offerings life presents to me on my journey.
